Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the 1st to 3rd Respondents to cancel, the forged document registered under Document No. 1104/2011 dated 23.06.2011 on the file of the 3rd Respondent on the basis of the order dated 08.07.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No. 4736 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No. II, Sivagangai and pass such other and further orders as this Hon'ble court may deem fit to the facts and circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER
The writ petition is filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the forged document registered under Doc.No.1104 of 2011 dated 23.06.2011 on the file of the 3rd respondent on the basis of the order dated 08.07.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.4736 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivagangai.
2. Heard Mr.V.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for R1, R2 and R4 and Mr.K.Gnanasekaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who takes notice for R3.
3. Upon hearing the learned counsel on either side and perusing the material records of the case, it can be seen that the aforementioned order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No. II, Sivagangai, is an order directing the registration of a case and investigation into the matter.
4. It is now submitted that the case has been registered as Cr.No.3 of 2026, and the investigation is currently pending.
5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 3rd respondent submitted that the investigation will be completed within two months time period.
6. Since no final decision can be taken at this stage, the petitioner is granted liberty to renew his prayer at the appropriate stage.
7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order, without waiting for the certified copy.
8. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions and observations. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed 27.03.2026 NCC:Yes/No rgm
