ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 379 of IPC and Section 21(1) of Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, in Crime No.639 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side).
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner who arrayed as A-2 and that the petitioner said to have illegally transported Half unit of river sand.

4.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side)appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner is the owner of vehicle. He would further submit that, that apart from this case, there are 7 previous cases are pending against the petitioner are similar in nature.
5. Taking note of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) and considering the fact that there are 7 previous cases are pending against the petitioner are similar in nature and hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.
6. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
