This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to provide adequate - Police Protection to construct the store room in Survey No.240/15, Nemam Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 24.03.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the hereditary trustee of the Arulmigu Jeyagonda Choleeswarar Soundhara Nayagi Ambal Thirukovil. While so, during the settlement and UDR, several acre of the temple lands were made out to the individuals. Therefore, the temple filed a petition before the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai and the enquiry is pending in C3/29211/2023. In the meantime, the temple has decided to construct a store room adjacent to the Nagaravidudhi. While so, some of the Page No. 2 of 5
encroachers of the temple land and illegal pattathars made an objection to stall construction activities and also they stopped the construction activities. Therefore, the petitioner sent a complaint, dated 24.03.2025 and no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl side) for the respondents would submit that they received the complaint from the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner himself withdrawn the complaint. Therefore, the representation of the petitioner was already considered and closed. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.
4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and also the representation of the petitioner was considered and closed, no further order is required to be passed in this case. However, during the construction work, if any disturbances caused by the individuals, the petitioner can approach the second respondent police with specific complaint in accordance with law.

5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
