2. This Writ Appeal is directed against the order dated 27.06.2014 made in W.P.(MD).No.10386 of 2014 relating to appointment

of the respondent herein on compassionate ground. The father of the respondent herein, who served as Village Assistant, died in harness, on 14.11.2012. Seeking employment on compassionate ground, the respondent submitted an application, which was rejected on the ground that it was made after lapse of three years of the death of the employee. The Writ Court, taking into consideration the decision in the case of R.Sridevi vs. Secretary to Government reported in (2012) 2 MLJ 211, allowed the Writ Petition. Before us, there is no record placed so as to come to the conclusion that the said decision has been reversed or modified. Therefore, the appellants have not made out any case to interfere with the order passed by the Writ Court.

3. In the result, the Writ Appeal fails and the same is accordingly dismissed.

No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
