ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The land in question stood in the name of Anantha Narayana Iyer who is none other than the father of the petitioner. He passed away on 01.01.2004. The surviving legal heirs are the petitioner / A.Ramasubramnian and A.Meenkashi. All that the petitioner wants is disbursement of the compensation in terms of the award dated 14.02.2023 passed by the District Collector cum Land Acquisition Officer, Kanyakumari District. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate pointed out that the writ petition was straightaway filed without approaching the authority. There appears to be some merit in this contention. No proof has been enclosed in the original typed set of papers. To overcome this lacuna, an additional typed set of papers has been filed and it is seen therefrom that on 23.04.

2024, a representation was sent by the petitioner herein. The acknowledgment card has also been enclosed. The materials enclosed in the additional typed set of papers are sufficient to come to the conclusion that the petitioner is one of the legal heirs of the deceased land owner.

petitioner along with her sister / A.Meenakshmi are directed to submit a fresh representation by enclosing their respective bank account details. Upon receipt of the same, disbursement shall be made within a period of six weeks thereafter. If the petitioner is still has any grievance and seeks further enhancement, it is always open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
