: Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent/District Educational Officer, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District, to consider and pass orders forthwith on the petitioner's proposal to him dated 01.02.2018 together with the reminders thereto dated 12.02.2018, 22.02.2018, 27.02.2018, 06.03.2018, 08.03.2018, 14.03.2018, 08.05.2018, 11.05.2018 and 30.05.2018 for the registration of the Secretary of the Kshatriya Hindu Nadar Higher Secondary School, Perunazhi, Ramanathapuram District run by the Perunazhi Kshatriya Hindu Nadar Pallikal Abivirithi Sangam.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent/District Educational Officer, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District, to consider and pass orders forthwith on the petitioner's proposal to him dated 01.02.2018 together with the reminders thereto dated 12.02.2018, 22.02.2018, 27.02.2018, 06.03.2018, 08.03.2018, 14.03.2018, 08.05.2018, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

11.05.2018 and 30.05.2018 for the registration of the Secretary of the Kshatriya Hindu Nadar Higher Secondary School, Perunazhi, Ramanathapuram District run by the Perunazhi Kshatriya Hindu Nadar Pallikal Abivirithi Sangam.

2. The petitioner was appointed as Secretary to manage the Kshatriya Hindu Nadar Higher Secondary School with effect from 01.02.2018 and he has sent a representation dated 01.02.2018 to the third respondent to approve his nomination as Secretary. It was followed by reminders dated 12.02.2018, 22.02.2018, 27.02.2018, 06.03.2018, 08.03.2018, 14.03.2018, 08.05.2018, 11.05.2018 and 30.05.2018. In spite of the same, no orders have been passed so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the request of the petitioner dated 01.02.2018, after verifying appropriate records and thereafter, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
