O R D E R

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner. 2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner and his family members harassed at the hands of the respondent police without following due process of law.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police has frequently went to the house of the petitioner and harassed him based on a false complaint. Therefore, he has filed the present criminal original petition before this Court.

not correct and specifically denied in para 3 of the counter affidavit for the said allegation made by the petitioner. 5.The learned Additional Advocate General submitted that there is no harassment to the petitioner's family at the hands of the respondent police. The learned Additional Advocate General further submitted that the case has been registered in Crime No.191 of 2018 at Pudukottai Police Station, Thoothukudi for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 324, 506(ii) of IPC and 3 of TNPPDL Act 191/2018.

6.In the light of the submission and in the light of the counter affidavit as well as the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General, this criminal original petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to seek his remedy before the appropriate Court, if so advised.
