ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. R.Shankar Ganesh, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Criminal Side), for the respondents 1 and 2, this Court made the following order:
This petition is filed seeking extension of time for surrender of the petitioners as well as to comply with the conditions in the order passed by this Court, in Crl.O.P (MD) No.3891 of 2024, dated 12.03.2024.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the order dated 12.03.2024 was made ready only on 20.03.2024. As per the direction, the petitioners have to surrender on or before 05.04.2024. Due to the Ramzan festival, the petitioners could not appear within the stipulated time. They also filed an application for extension of time on 12.04.2024. 3.Considering the rival submissions made, this petition is ordered and the time 2/4
is extended by 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for the petitioners to surrender the petitioners before the trial Court and to comply with the conditions imposed in the order dated 12.03.2024.
