ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the respondents to pass order on the petition mentioned representation for request transfer. The petitioner had been serving in Madurai Region for over 21 years. Vide order dated 09.05.2022, he has been transferred to A.Mukkulam Police Station, Virudhunagar District. The petitioner does not have any right to serve in a particular place. The petitioner is a member of the uniformed force. This Court will be justified in directing the authority to consider the representation only if the petitioner has a legal right. No such legal right has been shown to exist.

3. I therefore decline to issue direction sought for. It is of-course open to the respondents to take a call on their own if they want to.
