JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. This Writ Appeal has been filed against the order dated 20.02.2017 made in W.P(MD).No.2854 of 2017. The said Writ Petition was filed challenging the order of suspension on the ground that it is a prolonged suspension from the year 2014 onwards. The said Writ Petition was dismissed by the Writ Court.

3. Today, when the Writ Appeal is taken up for admission, Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, placing reliance on the proceedings of the Director of Social Welfare, Chennai, dated 16.05.2017, submits that the order of suspension has been revoked, pending https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

finalization of the criminal case initiated by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption and the appellant is posted as Supervisor Grade II at Child Development Project Office, Kalayarkoil Block, Sivagangai District.

4. In the light of the above, the Writ Appeal is disposed of, recording the proceedings of the Director of Social Welfare, Chennai, dated 16.05.2017. No costs.
