O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the second respondent to register a case, based on his complaint, dated 01.04.2016, investigate the same and file a final report within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. On reading of the complaint, dated 01.04.2016, this Court does not find any violation of the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act

by the proposed accused. If the proposed accused, namely, Tahsildar of Illayankudi Taluk has given Patta falsely, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the same before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer.

4. In the result, this criminal original petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
