CRIME NO.707/2015 ...RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to condone the delay of 1046 days in preferring this Criminal Appeal as against the judgment and conviction rendered by the Learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Theni in S.C.NO. 68 of 2015 dated 30/05/2018.

Prayer in CRL A(MD) SR No.14362 of 2021:

To call for the entire records connected with the judgment rendered by the Learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Theni in Special S.C.No.68 of 2015 dated 30.05.2018 and set aside the same and consequently acquit the appellant. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.PRAKASH, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.RMS.SETHURAMAN, Standing Counsel for State Government on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition is filed to condone the delay of 1046 days in preferring the Criminal Appeal as against the judgment and conviction rendered by the learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Theni in S.C.No.68 of 2015, dated 30.05.2018. 2.Heard both side.

3.Mr.RMS.Sethuraman, learned Standing Counsel for State Government (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent has strongly opposed for allowing this petition.

CRL MP(MD) No.4333 of 2021 filed in support of the petition and in the interest of justice, this petition is allowed on payment of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) to the Chief Justice Relief Fund (payable in Accounts Section of the High Court Registry), within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without further reference to this Court.
