It is a petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 23.03.2016 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR has been registered on 28.04.2016 in Crime No.65 of 2016 for offences under Sections 147, 148, 448, 294(b), 323, 379 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.
