ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN,J.) This writ petition styled as a Public Interest Litigation pertains to halting of bus operations on account of onset and spread of COVID-19 pandemic virus and the petitioner/party-in-person challenges the concerned Government Order in this writ petition.

2. Heard the submissions of the petitioner/party-in-person and Mr.P.Subbiah, learned Central Government Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, has issued a Notification in Se.Ku.No.185, dated 02.09.2020, in and by which, the interdistrict bus operations will be permitted from 07.09.2020, permitting the bus operations both by the Government run Transport Corporations as well as by the private persons/entities. The said communication, dated 02.09.2020, is taken on file and record.

4. In the light of the same, nothing remains for further adjudication in this writ petition.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is also closed.
