[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner's vehicle has been confiscated and a charge under Section 379 of I.P.C. brought, the relevant vehicle has not been produced before the appropriate Magistrate's Court.

2. It is possible that because of the recent second surge of the pandemic when regular life came to a standstill, normal activities could not be continued. The respondent authorities, particularly, the third respondent Inspector of Police, should ensure that the relevant vehicle is produced before the appropriate Magistrate's Court within a period of four weeks from date, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.10507 of 2021 whereupon, it will be open to the writ petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

3. In view of the nature of the order passed, no previous notice was required to be issued to the respondents.
