: Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to direct the 1st respondent to alter the FIR in Crime No.797 of 2015 into under Section 302 of IPC., instead of under Sections 279, 337 and 304(A) of IPC.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction, directing the 1st respondent to alter the FIR in Crime No.797 of 2015 into one under Section 302 of IPC., instead of under Sections 279, 337 and 304(A) of IPC.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an investigation has been conducted and the complaint has been closed, as action dropped, on 01.12.2015. She has also handed over the action dropped report to the petitioner in the open court itself.

3. In view of the submission made by the Government Advocate (crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
