O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.05.2018 within a stipulated period of time.

2. Heard Mr.A.V.Arun, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner seeks some pay parity along with her juniors, who are getting higher pay than her. Therefore, in this regard, she has given a detailed representation, dated 11.05.2018, to the respondent, which is the One Man Commission appointed and is functioning to redress these kind of grievances, by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Therefore, if the said representation is considered and an order to that effect is directed to be passed by the respondent, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4. Mrs.S.Srimathy, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, would submit that the said

representation of the petitioner, dated 11.05.2018, would be considered on merits and an order to that effect would be passed, within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the limited scope of the writ petition as well as taking note of the submissions made by both sides, this writ petition is disposed of, with the consent of both sides at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:- "that the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.05.2018, with regard to her grievance on pay parity, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders thereon, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs."
