The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to rectify the alleged error that occurred during natham updation. 1/4

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the patta was mutated in the name of the petitioner's predecessor as an interest, at the time of Natham settlement and updation of records, the lands measuring 1.5 cents comprised in S.No.57/13B are now classified as Poosthi Pathai, which is contrary to the factual position on ground. The petitioner has sought for necessary rectification to be carried out by making a representation to the first respondent on 30.08.2024.

3. Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to conduct an enquiry and pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 30.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
