ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 376 and 417 of IPC, in Crime No.8 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.The defacto complainant alleged that the petitioner had live-in relationship with her for number of years and that he is now going back on his words and intends to marry some other woman. The defacto complainant further alleged that she had given five soverigns of jewel to the petitioner. Reading of First Information Report indicates that the relationship between the petitioner and the defacto complainant was consensual in nature. 4.Therefore, taking into account of these circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukkottai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. for a period of 30 days on the undertaken given by the petitioner as not to apply for relaxation of the condition. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

5.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
