O R D E R

Durai @ Muthusamy, the petitioner, who is the President of Thirupattur Panchayat, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District, has come forward with this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking a direction to the first respondent, namely, the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anticorruption Cell, Trichy, not to harass him.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Vigilance and Anticorruption police is troubling the petitioner. He has been put under mental strain and harassment. In this circumstances, he seeks protection.

3. Earlier, the prosecution has filed a counter narrating so may information. Now, they have gone. Now the lattest position

is that Vigilance and Anticorruption police has washed off their hands.

4. The learned Government Advocate (crl. side) furnished certain particulars, which would show that a detailed enquiry has been conducted. According to the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) , as on date, no FIR or criminal case as against the petitioner is pending with the Vigilance and Anticorruption police.

5. Recording the above said submissions of the learned Government Advocate (crl. side), accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
