Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 4th respondent to withdraw the investigation from the file of the 5th respondent and transfer the same to the 7th respondent herein in respect of the petitioner case.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to withdraw the investigation of the case in Crime No.595 of 2015 dated 16.07.2015 from the file of the 5th respondent and transfer the same to the 7th respondent herein.

2.We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1, 2, 4 & 5 and the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the third respondent. We have also perused the records carefully.

3.The above said case has been registered for an offence under Section 295(A) IPC. The Inspector of Police has filed a status report wherein he has narrated the steps taken by him and now the DNA result is awaited. Thus, the investigation has been taken a right direction. However, considering the delay in the investigation, we direct the Commissioner of Police, Tiruchirapalli District to monitor the investigation of the case in Crime No.595 of 2015.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
