ORDER:- This Criminal Appeal coming on for hearing on this day under the caption for "Extension of time" and upon perusing the earlier order of this court dated 24.04.2024, and the requisition letter submitted by the Sessions Judge(FAC), Special Court for Trial of Cases Under SC/ST(POA) Act, Thoothukudi, vide the letter in D.No.697/ 2024 dated 02.12.2024, this Court made the following order:
This petition has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose the case in S.C.No.10 of 2021.
2.This Court, by an order dated 24.04.2024 directed the Court below to dispose of the case in S.C.No.10 of 2021 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Now the Court below seeks further time to dispose of the said case.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 4.Being satisfied with the reasons assigned by the learned Judge, this Court is inclined to grant further time to dispose of the above case. Accordingly, four months time is granted for disposing the case in S.C.No.10 of 2021.
