O R D E R

Heard, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and carefully perused the materials available on record.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband namely Annadurai, who worked as Foreman in the respondent transport Corporation died on 10.05.2024. After his demise, the family of the petitioner find it very difficult to meet their day today needs and they are suffering a lot for the in action of the respondents, in disbursing the death benefits to the petitioner. 2/6

3. The petitioner made a representation on 15.03.2025 to the respondents requesting to settle the death benefits of her husband. But, till date no response from the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents on instruction submits that the representation of the petitioner under consideration and appropriate action will be taken in due course within the time to be stipulated by this Court by following due process of law.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the relief sought in this writ petition is only with regard to consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that without going into the merits of this case this case, this writ petition can be disposed of at admission stage itself with the consent of both parties with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2025 and in accordance with law within time to be stipulated herein to meet the interest of justice.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider and take appropriate decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 15.03.2025 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
