Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st respondent to take action upon his representation dated 18.04.2016 and issue a direction to the officials of the 2nd respondent police station not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry without any valid complaint and not to interefere in the civil dispute between the petitioner and his brother Sudalaimuthu relating to their bakery business. The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 18.04.2016 to the 1st and 2nd respondents, requesting them not to harass him in respect of a civil dispute. Since no action was taken on the said representation, the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, a case has been registered against the petitioner on 25.04.2016 under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) IPC.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the case has been registered by the respondent police in a hurried manner on 25.04.2016 on coming to know of the fact that the present petition has been filed by the petitioner on the said date.

5. There is an undertaking by the respondents that the appearance of the petitioner before the respondent police is no more required. Under such circumstances, there is no scope for calling the petitioner again to the respondent police either in the guise of enquiry or in the guise of anything else.

6. Therefore, recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
