Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for measurement of his land at Survey No.248/1A measuring 0.05.0 hectares in Malaiyur Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District comprised in patta No.340 and peck mark an extent of 0.02.0 hectares on the southern portion of the said land.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he made a representation to the respondent on 16.09.2015 followed by a reminder on 06.10.2015, the respondent has not taken any steps so far.

5. Considering the above said facts and circumstances, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, I direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.09.2015 and 06.10.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
