ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the objection raised by the petitioner, dated 21.02.2023 regarding enhancement of property tax for Tax Assessment No.080/017/900556 in the light of G.O.(Ms)No.52 Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MA.IV) Department, dated 30.03.2022 and also a further direction to the respondent to restore the drinking water connection No.080/025/0073 disconnected on 12.03.2025 till such time.

2. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of, at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner submits that she raised an objection regarding the enhancement of property tax on 21.02.2023. Since the objection has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4. Heard both sides.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court hereby directs the respondent to consider the objections raised by the petitioner regarding the enhancement of property tax dated 21.02.2023, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
