Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith provide electricity connection to the petitioner's house bearing No.5/179, Vellaparai Village, Kudaloor Post, Vedasandoor Taluk, Dindigul District within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ Mandamus directing the respondents forthwith provide electricity connection to the petitioner house bearing No.5/179, Vellaparai Village, Kudaloor Post, Vedasandoor Taluk, Dindigul District, within a time limit stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, she is the owner of the house property in Door No.5/179, situated at Vellaparai Village, Kudaloor Post, Vedasandoor Taluk, Dindigul District. She applied for electricity connection on 03.02.2014, to the respondents and the respondents informed her to get no objection Certificate from the Village Administrative Officer. According to her, due to enmity between the petitioner and the Village Administrative Officer, the Village Administrative Officer has not issued no objection certificate to her.

petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. The petitioner is making allegations against Village Administrative Officer. He has not made him as party respondent in this Writ Petition. There is nothing on record to show that the petitioner has approached the Village Administrative Officer for issuance of No Objection Certificate. The petitioner has also not produced the details of the documents if any submitted by her to the respondents for electricity service connection.

5. For the above reason, the Writ Petition is deviod of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed.

6. In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to approach the respondents along with necessary documents. No costs.
