ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH,J.) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records and quashing impugned order dated 18.06.2018 passed by the second respondent Block Development Officer.

2. Mr.Illanchezian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner concedes to the position that the petitioner is an encroacher in the lands at survey numbers 843/6 and 843/8, Kuvanuthur Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District. An affidavit dated 03.07.2018 has been filed by the petitioner where a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

request has been made for grant of time of two months to vacate the aforesaid lands.

3.Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader has no objection for the grant of some time sought to enable the petitioner to vacate.

4.In the light of there being no objection to the petitioner's request by the learned counsel for the respondents, the petitioner is directed the vacate the lands in question, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of non-compliance with the aforesaid direction, it is made clear that the respondents are at liberty to initiate such action as may be necessary to evict the petitioner from the aforesaid property.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
