ORDER
This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, Thanjavur District, to expeditiously complete the committal proceedings related to the case in P.R.C.No.2 of 2019 in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he lodged a complaint before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, Thanjavur District and the same is pending in P.R.C.No.2 of 2019 from 2019 onwards. So far, the case has not been committed to the Sessions Court. Therefore, he filed this petition to speedy disposal of the said case.
3. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondents, is inclined to pass order in this petition.
4. The prayer sought for in this petition is to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, Thanjavur District, to dispose the case in P.R.C.No.2 of 2019 within the stipulated time. The 2/4
case is pending from 2019 onwards. Therefore, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, Thanjavur District, is directed to complete the committal proceedings as early as possible. If any warrant is pending against the accused in that case, the trial Court shall take appropriate steps to execute the warrant, otherwise, the committal Court can split the case as against the absconding accused and complete the proceedings, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
