This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb based on the representation dated 04.08.2020.

2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the first respondent police and based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R.No.196 of 2020. He would further submit that after due enquiry, since the dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 2 and 3 is civil in nature, both of them were advised to approach the Court of law and thereafter, the enquiry has been closed.
