Prayer in WP(MD)No.14996/2015:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS calling for the records relating to the 3rd respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.91444/W1/E1/2014 dated 16.08.2015 and the consequential order passed by the 4th respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.6045/A1/2015, dated 16.08.2015 and quash the same and further direct the 3rd respondent to restore the order passed by 3rd respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.91444/W1/E1/2014 dated 14.08.2015 promoting the petitioner as Headmaster in Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Pattukottai, Thanjavur District.

[Judgment of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.V.Muruganantham, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the appellants and Mr.P.T.S.Narendravasan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

2. This writ appeal by the Government is directed against the order, dated 27.10.2015, made in W.P.(MD) No.14996 of 2015.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent / caveator brought to our notice that the order passed in the writ petition has been implemented and the respondent / writ petitioner's service has been regularized by proceedings dated 28.05.2016 and promotion has been effected to him by proceedings dated 01.07.2016 and hence, nothing survives for consideration in this appeal.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent, this writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
