[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] We have heard Mr.M.Jothi Basu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1, 2 and 4 to 8 and Mr.Vijayakumari Natarajan, learned counsel for respondent No.3. 2.

The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.11 is operating a water plant without licence or no objection certificate for drawal and transportation of ground water for the purpose of packaged drinking water.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1, 2 and 4 to 8 placed on record Renewal of No Objection Certificate dated 28.07.2023. As per the same, renewal certificate is valid upto 07.12.2023.

In the light of that, the relief prayed by the petitioner cannot be granted.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
