O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.) The petitioner filed this writ petition to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment stated to have been made by the fifth respondent in respect of the Pudhur Water Channel in between Ramavarma Nagar and the SIDCO Industrial Estate, K.Pudhur, Madurai District.

2.The learned standing counsel for SIDCO, on instructions, submitted that the encroachment in question has already been removed.

3.In view of the said submission, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition.

4.The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous on account of the subsequent events. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
