ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Ramanathapuram to expedite the trial in C.C.No.223 of 2022 within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.03 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 147, 417, 494, 294(b), 506(i), 109 IPC and Section 4 of the Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002. The respondent, after completing the investigation, has laid the final report and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.263 of 2019 by the Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Ramanathapuram. He would further submit that though the alleged offence occurred in the year 2021, the trial of the case is not completed for the past three years. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial has commenced and some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.
4.Considering the oldness of the crime, the Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Ramanathapuram is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.223 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
