ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime.No.Not Known of 2024 , for the offence punishable under Sections 21(H) of Tamil Nadu Forest Act., has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is said to have constructed a water tank without getting prior permission from the respondent in a land, which originally belong to the Forest Department. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the land belongs to the petitioner's ancestors and the revenue records also stands in the name of the petitioner. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that no case has been registered against the petitioner so far and there is no petition enquiry also.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent, not to harass the petitioner.
