ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for police protection to the petitioner and her family members for life and limb and for petitioner's properties.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the landlord and the third respondent is the tenant. The petitioner filed R.C.O.P.No.7 of 2017 seeking a direction to evict the third respondent. An exparte order was also passed on 23.08.2017. Thereafter, the third respondent had engaged the services of the fourth respondent, who is a law college student and fifth respondent, who is an advocate, who have encroached upon the property, by putting up an advocate's office. Thereafter, complaint was given to the respondent police.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the respondent police on receipt of the complaint from

the petitioner have registered the case in C.S.R.No.683 of 2018 and called both the parties for enquiry. In the said enquiry, the third respondent had given in writing that the he will comply with the orders of the Rent Controller and that they will not interfere or cause any threat to the petitioner. Similarly, the petitioner has also given in writing that since the fourth and fifth respondents have appeared in person and undertaken that they will not cause any interference or threat to the petitioner, the complaint is being withdrawn. Based on the letter, the respondent police have also closed the case.

4.In view of the above, no further orders are necessary to be passed by this Court in this petition. Consequently, this criminal original petition is closed.
