ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii) (c), 29(1) and 25 of NDPS Act, in Crime No.49 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were found in possession of 25kgs of Ganja. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the confession statement of A1, he has been arrayed as A2 in this case and the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that A1 was already arrested and released on bail. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.8668 of 2022 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor strongly opposed this petition stating that the petitioner is having nine previous cases, which are similar in nature and the investigation is pending. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the quantity of Ganja involved in this case is a commercial quantity and also the facts that the petitioner is having nine previous cases for similar offence and the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
