O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Additional District Judge, Sivagangai to dispose the case in S.C.No.35 of 2023 within the time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complainant in this case and based on her complaint, a case in Crime No.198 of 2022 was registered for the offences under Sections 342, 302, 109, 506(2) and 34 of IPC. Thereafter, the respondent conducted investigation and filed the final report and the case has been committed to the Sessions Court. Now the case is pending in S.C.No.35 of 2023 on the file of the learned Additional District Judge, Sivagangai. Though the occurrence took place in the year 2022, so far no trial has been commenced in this case. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition for speedy disposal.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that now the case is posted for framing of charges and they will cooperate for speedy disposal of the case by producing witnesses without any delay as directed by the Trial Court. Page No. 2 of 4

4. Considering the nature of the case and the case is pending from the year 2022, this Court directs the Trial Court to dispose the case in S.C.No.35 of 2023 as early as possible without giving any long adjournments beyond fifteen days.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
