ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, to expedite the case in S.T.C.No.58 of 2023, within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4

2. According to the petitioner, he is the complainant in this case and he lodged a complaint against the respondent before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, and the same is pending in S.T.C.No.58 of 2023 from 2023 onwards. So far, trial has not been completed. Therefore, he filed this petition seeking for speedy disposal of the said case.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondent, is inclined to pass order in this petition.

4. The prayer sought for in this petition is to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, to expedite the case in S.T.C.No.58 of 2023, within the time stipulated by this Court. According to the petitioner, he is the complainant in the case and the case is pending from 2023 onwards. So far, trial has not been completed and the case is posted for examination of P.W.1. Considering the same, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, to complete the trial proceeding as early as possible, without giving long adjournment beyond one week.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
