O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the 3rd respondent not to harass the petitioners and their family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. According to the petitioners, the 3rd respondent called the petitioners based on the F.I.R registered in Crime No.188 of 2025 under Section 194 BNSS for the suicide committed by one Stellamary on 18.03.2025. In fact, the petitioners have no any nexus for the above said occurrence. However, the 3rd respondent police frequently called the petitioners for enquiry. Therefore, they sent a representation dated 29.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that already they registered a case in Crime No.188 of 2024 under Section 194 BNSS and the same is Page No. 2 of 4

pending for investigation. For investigation purpose in the above said complaint, they called the petitioners for enquiry. Apart from that they have not harassed the petitioners and therefore, the petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and the respondents also denied the harassments alleged in the petition and only called the petitioners for investigation purpose in respect of Crime No.188 of 2025, recording the above said submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. 09.04.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Mac Page No. 3 of 4
