Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to issue patta to the lands in Survey Nos.319/9A & 319/4A1 situated at Mandaiyur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District measuring an extent of 8708 sq. ft., based on his representation, dated 09.10.2014.

4. It is stated that in pursuant to the purchase of the said property from the petitioner's vendor, the petitioner made a request for transfer of patta in his favour and the said representation is pending before the respondents, for the past one year.

5.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.10.2014 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
