ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent instruct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners in the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the complaint is against the first petitioner's son namely, Palmayandi, who is having eight previous cases and a history sheeter. Hence, the respondent police wanted to enquire the petitioners, the petitioners are not harassed by the respondent police.

4.It is made clear that the son of the first petitioner is a history sheeter. He is bound to be enquired by the respondent police and the same cannot be stopped. In sofar as the petitioners are concerned, the respondent police may issue a summon before calling for enquiry.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
