Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose the petitioner's application, dated 02.09.2015 seeking issuance of patta in respect of his landed property to an extent of 90 cents comprised in Survey No.772/2 situated at Sevugampatti Village, M.Vadipatti, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District.

ORDER

Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for grant of patta based on his representation, dated 02.09.2015 in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.772/2 situated at Sevugampatti Village, M.Vadipaptti, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District measuring an extent of 90 cents. Therefore, it is for the respondent to consider the said request and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, as this Court is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 02.09.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
