ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 354 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., and Section 3 of T.N.P.P.D.L. Act in Crime No.117 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. It is seen that the petitioners have caused loss to the tune of Rs.20,000/-.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners undertake to make a deposit of a sum of Rs.20,000/-. Therefore, the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only) to the credit of Crime No.117 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvaiyaru. The respondent police to inform the defacto complainant about the same. The defacto complainant is permitted to withdraw the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioners with certain conditions.
Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvaiyaru and executing a bond each of them for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.
5. The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
