This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining of wilful disobedience of the order, dated 26.09.2023 in W.P(MD)No.9971 of 2023 by the respondent.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the Writ Appeal in W.A. (MD)No.1190 of 2024 and C.M.P.(MD)No.9158 of 2024 has been preferred as against the order passed in W.P.(MD)No.9971 of 2023 and the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court was pleased to pass an order of interim stay on 23.07.2024.

3.In view of the same, this Contempt Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to reopen the same, if the aforesaid Writ Appeal is dismissed. 17.06.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes Mrn To The Superintendent of Police, Theni District.
