ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents. 2.The petitioner seeks cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the fifth respondent in respect of the petition mentioned lands. The petitioner has already moved the second respondent in this regard. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the Sub Collector, Cheranmahadevi would dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a 2/4

period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The Sub Collector, Cheranmahadevi will put the fifth respondent as well as the other interested persons, if any on notice before passing final order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
