ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.171 of 2016, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Oddanchatram.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions would submit that there is a counter case, in which, the respondent police investigated and have also filed a final report and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.162 of 2016, before the same Court.

3. This Court is of the considered view that both the case and the counter case have ended up in filing the final report and both the cases are before the same Court pending enquiry. Therefore, at this stage, this Court does not wants to interfere with the proceedings. The C.C., is of the year 2016. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the Court below to complete the proceedings in C.C.Nos.162 and 171 of 2016, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
