O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN , J.) The writ petitioner seeks removal of the encroachment in the catchment area of Pothiyakulam in S.No.73 of Amarasurimendrapuram Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District. 2.We find that the writ petitioner has given representation to District Collector, Pudukottai. We direct the petitioner to submit a comprehensive representation to the competent authority. The competent authority, on receipt of such representation, shall enquire into the matter and if encroachment is noticed in the catchment area in question, he shall take action for removal of the same, after due notice to all the encroachers. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of representation.

3.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
