O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for his wilful disobedience against the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4905 of 2020 dated 12.01.2022.

2. In Crl.O.P(MD).No.4905 of 2020, the Sub Inspector of Police, Oomachikulam Police Station, Madurai District was impleaded as respondent. Later, the investigation was transferred to the Inspector of Police, Tallakulam Police Station, Madurai District, on the point of jurisdiction on 12.01.2022.

3. The respondent, namely, the Inspector of Police (Crime), Tallakulam Police Station, Madurai District is present before this Court and he has stated that the records in Crime No.35 of 2013 has not been received so far from the Oomachikulam Police Station, Madurai District and proper order of transfer has not been obtained.

4. In view of the above said inconvenience, the Inspector of Police, Oomachikulam Police Station, Madurai District is directed to sent the entire case files to the respondent police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after due acknowledgment. After receiving the entire records, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation within a period of two months from the date of receiving the entire case files.
