This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb. 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the alleged complaint given by the petitioner has not been received by the respondents police and therefore, the respondents police are not in a position to take any action in favour of the petitioner.
